Description
This is a wonderful opportunity to gain upholstery experience and to make real gains on your project. Attending a full day a week allows you to settle in a bit and to really achieve some progress. Everyone brings their own project and if you are a newcomer, you may start with something a little more involved such as a nursing chair, fauteuil (French style chair) or lounge chair or a pair of sprung dining chairs which are excellent learning projects. You receive plenty of 1:1 instruction, demonstration and guidance as well as group learning for other different topics.
**Please note: fees include storage of beginner size projects but there is an additional storage fee to cover the cost of armchairs (including tub chairs, ottomans, large footstools and some nursing chairs) which are charged £65 per term and extra large chairs (depth and width are over 73cm) £120 per term. This fee is paid at your first session, by card.** If you are unsure if you will be charged a storage fee, please do ask the tutor.
Everyone must send a photo of their project prior to the course. If you need any guidance, please do get in touch via email to saramac@upholsterybureau.com
