Description
A 5 session upholstery course on Friday mornings from 10am til 1pm.
This is designed as a ‘taster course’ for people who want to try their hand at upholstery and to experience a little of what it is about. If you are a new comer, you need to find a dining chair or piano stool or a couple of drop in seats – something small to work on and bring it to the first session. There’s loads to learn so this is the perfect opportunity to see if upholstery is for you!
There will likely be returners in the class and this will give you a little insight into what might lay ahead for you. Please send a photo of your project to make sure it is suitable for this course.
**Your fee includes storage of beginner type projects, but for returners, there is an additional storage fee to store larger pieces such as armchairs (including some nursing chairs) which are charged at £65 per term and extra large chairs (depth and width are over 73cm) £120 per term. This fee is paid at your first session, by card.** If you are unsure if you will be charged a storage fee, please ask the tutor.
Everyone must send a photo of their project prior to the course. If you need any guidance, please do get in touch via email to saramac@upholsterybureau.com
Please do check out the FAQs page on the website for answers to frequently asked questions.
